Based in Ramsey, Minnesota, Connexus Energy is Minnesota’s largest electric cooperative, providing electricity and related products to member residents and businesses. The Connexus Energy Board of Directors, elected by our membership, governs the electric cooperative. We serve more than 145,000 members in portions of Anoka, Chisago, Hennepin, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Ramsey, Sherburne, and Washington counties.

Inflation Reduction Act
Programs to Reduce Energy Costs and Carbon Emissions
The Inflation Reduction Act was signed into federal law on Aug. 16, 2022, offering funding, programs and incentives to accelerate the transition to clean energy.
Please reference one of the following sites for details and guidelines of the IRA and related programs. As of Nov. 20, 2024, the Minnesota Department of Commerce had not launched these programs.
- Home Energy Rebates – rebates to eligible applicants that make energy improvements, like upgrading appliances to efficient electric models, adding insulation and modernizing home wiring systems to support home electrification
- Minnesota Residential Heat Pump Rebate Program – financial assistance to eligible applicants that purchase and install a heat pump for space heating and cooling in their residence
- Residential Electrical Panel Upgrade Grant Program – financial assistance to eligible owners of single-family residences and multifamily buildings to upgrade residential electric panels
