Based in Ramsey, Minnesota, Connexus Energy is Minnesota’s largest electric cooperative, providing electricity and related products to member residents and businesses. The Connexus Energy Board of Directors, elected by our membership, governs the electric cooperative. We serve more than 145,000 members in portions of Anoka, Chisago, Hennepin, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Ramsey, Sherburne, and Washington counties.

Whole House Time-of-Day
Residential Whole House Time-Of-Day
Our Residential Whole House Time-of-Day (TOD) program offers an alternative rate structure to members who can shift their energy consumption outside the 4 p.m.-8 p.m. peak-period. This is a whole-house rate available to individual residential and farm member-consumers for all domestic and farm use except irrigation. This includes service to apartment units. This is not available as a whole-house rate to members with a metered load management program. Members who are receiving the Net Energy Billing Service or Simultaneous Purchase and Sale Rates are not eligible for this rate.
Once enrolled, all energy in your home will be billed based on the TOD energy charges below:

There are no peak periods on weekends or the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
How to get on board with this program
- Complete the online application below.
- We will then make an appointment to change out your existing standard residential meter with a time-of-day meter to activate the new rate schedule.
Members enrolled in the Residential Whole House Time-of-Day schedule will remain on this rate for a period of not less than 12 months, except as provided under the Optional Trial Service. While served under this schedule, the residential and single rate is not available.
